Clugnet And Sömskar Winners Of Blink Sprint Race

On the fourth and final day of the Blinkfestivalen in Norway, James Clugnet, Great Britain, and Linn Sömskar, Team Engcon, won the sprint rollerski race in freestyle technique. 

On the fourth and final day of the Blinkfestivalen in Norway, James Clugnet, Great Britain, and Linn Sömskar, Team Engcon, won the sprint rollerski race in freestyle technique. 

Blinkfestivalen day four was marked by a sprint race. The freestyle competition attracted a solid field to the start in the city center of Sandnes. 

In the men’s race, James Clugnet, Great Britain, won the race in a total time of 4:13.5. Alfred Buskqvist, Team Ramudden, finished in second place, 0.1 seconds behind the winner, and Gjøran Holstad Tefre, Norway, completed the podium in third place, 0.2 seconds back.

In the women’s competition, Linn Sömskar, Team Engcon, took her third win in three days. She won the final race in a total time of 4:53.1. Eva Urevc, Slovenia, finished in second place, 0.3 seconds behind the winner, and Nadine Fähndrich, Switzerland, completed the podium in third place, 0.8 seconds back.
