Silly Season: Sivert Bergan And Haakon Holden Renew With Team Næringsbanken

In a post on social media, Team Næringsbanken announced that Sivert Bergan and Haakon Holden renewed their contracts for the 2022/2023 Ski Classics season.

Sivert Bergan (@sivertbergan) and Haakon Holden (@haakonholden) have also signed for a new season with Team Næringsbanken. They both have ambitions for top 30 placements in most races in Ski Classics. Sivert and Haakon have long-term ambitions, with a goal of placing in the top 10 by 2025,” says the Pro Team post on Instagram.

Sivert Bergan is a Norwegian long-distance skier and ended Ski Classics Season XII in the 48th position, with 316 points in the Champion competition. Bergan has 22 Pro Tour and 4 Ski Classics Challengers starts under his belt. Årefjällsloppet and Tartu Maraton, both during Season XII, are his best Pro Tour races, where he finished in the 33rd position.

Haakon Holden, also a Norwegian long-distance skier, ended Season XII in the 55th position in the Champion competition with 240 points. With 12 Pro Tour and 5 Ski Classics Challengers starts, his best Pro Tour placement was 40th at La Diagonela last season. 

Last Sunday, Team Næringsbanken also announced that Marie Renée Sørum Gangsø and Julia Angelsiöö renewed their contracts for the 2022/2023 Ski Classics season.
