Tour de France stage 3 saw Dylan Groenewegen (Team BikeExchange – Jayco) winning the 182km race ahead of Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) and Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck).
Today, after three stages in Denmark and the first rest day, Tour de France is back in its home territory. Stage 4 starts in Dunkerque and covers 171.5km and six category four climbs before finishing in Calais.
Stage 4 – Dunkerque-Calais 171.5km
“After the first day of rest, Tour de France continues with a really tough stage. In terms of profile, nothing to be afraid of per se. Starting in Dunkerque and finishing in Calais, it would be a few intense kilometers along the coast. But when you go south and make a left turn, it will be longer but also hilly and very intense. I think this stage will surprise us, viewers, positively. Far from certain that a sprinter will win here,” says Vacchi.
The broadcast starts on Eurosport at 13:10. Neutral starts at 13:15. Expected arrival at 17:14.
