Team BAUHAUS for season 2025/2026
The Swedish Ski Association has named the cross-country skiers for its Team BAUHAUS for the season 2025/2026.
According to a press release from the Swedish Ski Association, the seven cross-country skiers selected will be part of Team BAUHAUS for the upcoming season and will cooperate closely with the A-national team.

The Swedish Ski Association has announced this year’s Team BAUHAUS lineup, with a clear emphasis on development and a tighter selection than in previous seasons. The squad, both on the men’s and women’s side, will maintain a strong connection to the A-team as the focus shifts toward providing higher-quality resources and preparing for the 2025/2026 season, which includes the Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina.
“Team BAUHAUS, both in the men’s and women’s teams, will be closely linked to the A-team. There will be fewer skaters so that we can offer high-quality resources. This also means that the requirements for taking a place are higher. We want to see progression and an international level in those who get a place in Team BAUHAUS,” says national team manager Anders Byström.
With the Olympic Games set for February 5–22, 2026, the coming months will be crucial for training and preparation.
“We are entering an Olympic season, and the goal is to further sharpen the operations,” adds Byström.
In terms of coaching, Ida Ingemarsdotter and Johan Granath will take on expanded roles and form a coaching trio with Stefan Thomson. The trio will support both the A-team and Team BAUHAUS on the women’s side, joining camps and competitions while continuing their work with Svenska Spel’s elite training centers in Östersund and Falun.
“Svenska Spel’s Elite environments are also important in our development of skaters outside the national teams. There are training environments, good sparring, and coaching resources with great knowledge. These elite environments are becoming increasingly important for getting pressure in everyday activities, where the active ones spend large parts of the year,” explains Byström.
The national team will soon enter a key period of physical testing and training camps. The first full team gathering is scheduled for late May to early June at a new training location—Riksgränsen in northern Sweden.
