Swiss legends reunite: Cologna and team dominate Masters relay
Among them was four-time Olympic champion Dario Cologna, who competed in the 4x5km CT/FT relay with Team Switzerland. The team secured a victory in the Masters M01 Category.
Reflecting on the experience, Cologna shared, “It was fun to compete with the old teammates. For us, it was for fun, but it’s nice to have these races for the masters. Well organized by Davos Klosters, although the bad luck with the weather.”

After a beautiful week in Davos, the weather took a turn on race day, shifting to wet snow and rain, which added an extra challenge to the course. Despite the conditions, Cologna and his teammates, Toni Livers, Remo Fischer, and Roman Furger. They delivered what was meant to be reminisant of the memorable performance of the 2010 World Cup victory in La Clusaz. That historic race saw Toni Livers, Dario Cologna, Remo Fischer, and Curdin Perl claim Switzerland’s first-ever win in the 4x10km relay. Unfortunately, Curdin Perl was unable to race in the Masters event due to a last-minute change.
The Masters World Cup have been taking place in Klosters, Switzerland from March 8 – 16, 2025. Around 800 athletes from more than 25 nations are expected to compete over the week long event.
