Swedish superstar powers to 10km freestyle gold at Milano-Cortina 2026
The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued today for the cross-country skiers in Val di Fiemme, Italy, with the women’s 10km interval start event in freestyle technique. Check out the results.
Frida Karlsson, from Sweden, delivered a commanding performance, claiming Olympic gold in the 10km interval start race in freestyle technique – complete results from the women’s event.
Frida Karlsson crossed the finish line in a winning time of 22:49.2, claiming the gold medal.
Ebba Andersson, also from Sweden, secured the silver medal, finishing 46.6 seconds back, while American Jessie Diggins completed the podium in third place, 49.7 seconds behind the winner and secured the bronze medal.
Astrid Øyre Slind and Heidi Weng, from Norway, rounded out the top five, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
