‘Sweden I’ wins the women’s Team Sprint at the Madona Roller Ski World Cup

The Roller Ski World Cup had its second day this Thursday with a Team Sprint race in classic technique for elite women in Madona, Latvia. Check out the results.

Team Sprint – Women’s Race – Madona Roller Ski World Cup 

Sweden I, with Ebba Stenman and Linn Sömskar, won the Team Sprint today at the Roller Ski World Cup in Madona, with a total time of 23:32.5.

Estonia I, with Keidy Kaasiku and Kaidy Kaasiku, finished in second place, 16.4 seconds behind the winners.

Sweden II, with Johanna Holmberg and Ella Selmosson, completed the podium in third place, 19.1 seconds back.

Estonia II (Teesi Tuul and Telloora Ojaste) and Latvia I (Samanta Krampe and Kitija Auzina) rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

  1. Sweden I (Ebba Stenman and Linn Sömskar), 23:32.5
  2. Estonia I (Keidy Kaasiku and Kaidy Kaasiku), +16.4
  3. Sweden II (Johanna Holmberg and Ella Selmosson), +19.1
  4. Estonia II (Teesi Tuul and Telloora Ojaste), +20.7
  5. Latvia I (Samanta Krampe and Kitija Auzina), +1:01.5
