Sömskar And Kristoffersen Dominated The Mass Start At The Rollerski World Cup

The Rollerski World Cup had its second day today with a 16/29km freestyle mass start race in Otepää, Estonia. Linn Sömskar and Patrick Fossum Kristoffersen won their respective races.

Linn Sömskar (SWE) took first place today at the FIS Rollerski World Cup in the women’s 16km freestyle mass start race. Qinghua Ma (CHN) snagged second place, and Yang Zhou (CHN) completed the podium in third place.

  1. Linn Sömskar (SWE), 38:53.3
  2. Qinghua Ma (CHN), +0.1
  3. Yang Zhou (CHN), +1:32.3

In the 29km men’s race, we saw Patrick Fossum Kristoffersen (NOR) taking home first place. Michael Galassi (ITA) snagged second place, and Amund Korsæth (NOR) completed the podium in third place.

The junior rollerski races also took place today, with a 16km freestyle mass start race for women and men.

  3. Mariya Gerachshenko (KAZ), +2.0
