Sömskar And Korsæth Winners On The First Day Of The Rollerski World Cup In Italy

The 5km individual start race in freestyle technique for men and women, senior and junior athletes, at the FIS Rollerski World Cup, took place today in Rieti – Amatrice, Italy. Linn Sömskar (SWE) and Amund Korsæth (NOR) won their respective races.

The 5km individual start race in freestyle technique for men and women, senior and junior athletes, at the FIS Rollerski World Cup, took place today in Rieti – Amatrice, Italy. Linn Sömskar (SWE) and Amund Korsæth (NOR) won their respective races.

Linn Sömskar (SWE) took first place today at the FIS Rollerski World Cup in the women’s 5km individual start race in freestyle technique. Viktoriia Olekh (UKR) finished in the second position, and Elisa Sordello (ITA) completed the podium in third place.

  1. Linn Sömskar (SWE), 14:57.4
  2. Viktoriia Olekh (UKR), +56.3 
  3. Elisa Sordello (ITA), +1:16.6

In the men’s race, we saw Amund Korsæth (NOR) taking first place. Tommaso Dellagiacoma (ITA) snagged second place, and Matteo Tanel (ITA) completed the podium in third place.

Junior rollerski races also took place today, with the 5km individual start in freestyle technique, for women and men.
