The Scandinavian Cup season 2025/2026 started today in Östersund, Sweden, with a 1.2km freestyle sprint race for women and men. Check out the results.

Scandinavian Cup Östersund – Men’s Sprint Freestyle

Mathias Holbaek (NOR) claimed victory in the men’s 1.2km sprint in freestyle technique in Östersund with a total time of 2:51.52.

Simen Myhre (NOR) finished second, 0.16 seconds back, and Even Solem Michelsen (NOR) completed the podium in third place, 0.61 seconds behind the winner.

In the women’s race, Julie Myhre (NOR) took the win with a total time of 3:13.49.

Nora Elisabeth Falster (NOR) secured second place 0.14 seconds back, while Karoline Groetting (NOR) rounded out the podium in third, 0.96 seconds behind the winner.
