Russia Dominates The 30km Mass Start Podium At The Junior World Championships

The Junior and U23 World Cross-Country Ski Championships started in Lygna, Norway. At the U20 men’s 30km mass start race in free technique, Russia dominated and got the gold, silver, and bronze medals.  

Alexander Ivshin won today’s U20 men’s 30km mass start in free technique, conquering the first championships gold for Russia. Ivshin’s teammates, Saveliy Korostelev, finished 8.1 seconds behind the winner and got the silver medal. Nikita Denisov finished 12 seconds back and got the bronze medal.

Nikita Rodionov completed the Russian domination, finishing in fourth place.
