Today, the third and final day of the Olos/Muonio Ski Race Weekend took place in Finland with a 10km individual start race in freestyle technique for men and women. Federico Pellegrino (ITA) won the men’s race with a superior performance.

In the men’s 10km individual start race in freestyle technique, Federico Pellegrino (ITA) won the race with a total time of 23:15.0.

Friedrich Moch (GER) snagged second place, 7.3 seconds back, and Arsi Ruuskanen (FIN) completed the podium in third place, 16.9 seconds behind the winner.

Olos/Muonio Ski Race Weekend

The Olos/Muonio Ski Race Weekend in Finland is known for drawing a large and solid international field. For many elite traditional cross-country skiers, these races are an essential performance indicator for the World Cup in Ruka and a good thermometer for the winter.

The event weekend started this Friday, November 15, with a sprint race in classic technique, followed on Saturday, November 16, by a 10km classic technique event. On Sunday, November 17, the weekend ends with a 10km freestyle race.
