The first event of the Östersund World Cup season is taking place today, Saturday, December 9, in Sweden, featuring a sprint race in classic technique. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (NOR) clocked the fastest time in the sprint qualifier. 

The top 30 skiers qualified for the sprint finals at the Östersund World Cup. The men’s sprint final starts at 13:30 CET.
