Karoline Grøtting, from Norway, showed her form and won the 10km interval start race in freestyle technique at the Scandinavian Cup in Vantaa. Complete results from the women’s event.

Karoline Grøtting, from Norway, took home first place today in the women’s freestyle race with a time of 25:36.3.

Julie Myhre, also from Norway, grabbed second place, 24.0 seconds back, and Margrethe Bergane completed the Norwegian podium in third place, 28.6 seconds behind the winner.

Scandinavian Cup – Vantaa 2025/2026

Vantaa hosted three races from Friday to Sunday. The program opened on Friday, January 2, with a 1.3km sprint race in classic technique, followed by a 20km interval start in classic technique on Saturday, January 3. The weekend concluded on Sunday, January 4, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique.
