Norway’s Team For The Lillehammer World Cup

The cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Norway this weekend in Lillehammer. The Norwegian Team is now nominated.

Lillehammer, Norway, is the place of this year’s second stop for the cross-country skiing World Cup. The event begins on Friday, December 02, with a 10km individual start in freestyle technique. On Saturday, December 3, a sprint race in freestyle technique awaits. And on Sunday, December 4, the World Cup weekend ends with a 20km mass start in classic technique. 

In a press release, the Norwegian Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cup in Lillehammer. Norway will start with 47 athletes. On the women’s side, Norway will begin with 23 skiers. Already on the men’s side, 24 athletes will start for the Scandinavian country.
