by ProXCskiing • 05.05.2022
Markus Cramer, a German who previously worked as a national team coach in Russia, will coach the Italian national team next season.

Last winter, Italy’s number one skiers Federico Pellegrino and Francesco de Fabiani trained with a group of Russian national skiers coached by Cramer. Fondoitalia online publication reported that the 58-year-old experienced cross-country skiing coach would oversee 9 World Cup athletes, five men, and four women.

Cramer’s contract with the Russian national team ended this season, and no new agreement was made in the current world situation.
