Lucas Chanavat wins the sprint at the Tour de Ski Stage 1 in Italy

Lucas Chanavat secured first place in the men’s sprint race in freestyle technique for France at the Tour de Ski Stage 1 in Toblach, Italy. Results from the sprint race.

Lucas Chanavat (FRA) took first place at the Tour de Ski sprint race in freestyle technique with a total time of 2:35.75. The French cross-country skier was followed by Jules Chappaz, also from France, 0.22 seconds back, in second place.

Ben Ogden, from the USA, completed the podium in third place, 0.49 seconds behind the winner. 

Erik Valnes, from Norway, and Valerio Grond, from Switzerland, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
