Jenssen and Skaanes 15km Mass Start Winners at the Scandinavian Cup

Jan Thomas Jenssen and Marte Skaanes, both from Norway, dominated the 15km Mass Start Freestyle race at the Scandinavian Cross-Country Skiing Cup in Akureyri, Iceland. Results from the race.

In the men’s race, we saw the top 11 places from Norway’s cross-country skier, Jan Thomas Jenssen taking home first place. Magne Haga snagged second place and Iver TIldheim Andersen completed the podium in third place.

  1. Jan Thomas Jenssen (NOR), 32:12.8
  2. Magne Haga (NOR), +4.4
  3. Iver Tildheim Andersen (NOR), +5.7

In the women’s race, a podium hat trick for Norway, with Marte Skaanes taking home first place today at the Akureyri Scandinavian Cup. Karoline Simpson-Larsen snagged second place and Magni Smedås completed the podium in third place.
