Norwegian cross-country skier star Heidi Weng is ready to start competing again after a long and troubled start to the training season.

Just before the Olympics, Weng was diagnosed with Covid-19 and missed the Winter Games. Once she recovered, she suffered a concussion after hitting her head on ice.

Heidi Weng’s concussion in March has bothered her for several months.

“She is, so to speak, in normal training and ready to compete again,” says Norway’s national team coach Stig Rune Kveen according to Adressavisen.

According to Adressavisen, the idea is that Weng will make a competitive comeback during the Blink Festival next week.
