Manificat and Pierrel win the 10km race at the French Championships

The French cross-country skiing Championships started this Saturday, March 30, in Les Saisies, with a 10km individual start race in classic technique. Tomorrow, Sunday, March 31, 2024, it’s time for the French Long-distance Championships, with a 42km long-distance race in freestyle technique. Both events are organized for senior skiers, with shorter races for younger categories.

10km Classic – Men

Maurice Manificat took first place at the 10km interval start race in classic technique at the French Championships with a total time of 23:26.0. Remi Bourdin finished in second place, 4.7 seconds back.

Clement Parisse completed the podium in third place, 8.2 seconds behind the winner. 

Yan Belorgey and Gaspard Rousset rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

Julie Pierrel won the 10km individual start race in classic technique with a total time of 27:04.5. Cloe Pagnier finished second, 19.2 seconds back.

Coralie Bentz completed the podium in third place, 22.1 seconds behind the winner. 

Flora Dolci and Maelle Veyre rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
