Finnish national team for the Östersund World Cup

The third stage of the cross-country skiing World Cup season 2023/2024 starts in Östersund, Sweden this weekend. The Finnish national team is now presented.

Östersund, Sweden, is the place for the third stage of this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup. The event starts on Saturday, December 9, with a sprint in classic technique, followed by a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique on Sunday, December 3.

In a press release, the Finnish Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cup premiere in Östersund. Finland will start with 17 athletes. On the women’s side, Finland will start with 8 skiers. Already on the men’s side, 9 athletes will start for the Scandinavian country.
