Double Gold for China in the Long-Distance Sitting Para Cross-Country Skiing at the Beijing Paralympics

Peng Zheng and Hongqiong Yang won the gold medal in the long-distance sitting at the 2022 Paralympics in Beijing. Results from the men’s and women’s races. 

Peng Zheng from China won the gold medal at the men’s competition at the para cross-country skiing 18km long-distance sitting race. Zhongwu Mao, also from China, secured the silver medal. Canada’s Collin Cameron completed the podium and got the bronze medal.

In the women’s race, China’s Hongqiong Yang secured the gold medal at the para cross-country skiing 15km long-distance sitting race. Oksana Masters from the USA finished in second place a got the silver medal. Panpan Li, from China, completed the podium in the third position and got the bronze medal.
