Diggins wins 10km freestyle at the World Cup in Cogne

The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Cogne, Italy, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.

Jessie Diggins, from the United States of America, showed her form and won the 10km interval start race in freestyle technique at the World Cup in Cogne. Complete results from the women’s event.

Jessie Diggins, from the United States of America, took home first place today in the women’s 10km race with a time of 23:59.7.

Astrid Øyre Slind, from Norway, grabbed second place, 5.1 seconds back, and Kerttu Niskanen, from Finland, completed the podium in third place, 15.4 seconds behind the winner.

Katerina Janatova, from the Czech Republic, and Krista Parmakoski, from Finland, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Italy (Cogne), the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
