Dario Cologna Will Release A Book In November
No Swiss cross-country skier has been as successful as Cologna. In his career, the skier achieved four Olympic golds, four World Cup overall victories, four Tour de Ski victories, and three World Championships medals, one of which is gold.
The book, which will be published on November 2, tells how Cologna was able to rise to great performances year after year, with excellent strategic ability, tough nerves, and, of course, an accurate dose of talent enhanced by constant training.
Journalist Peter Röthlisberger writes the book, and in the preface, there is Petter Northug’s acknowledgment of his rival’s abilities.
In addition to Northug, tennis star Roger Federer, the world’s best mountain biker Nino Schurter, ski jumper Simon Ammann, alpine skiers Carlo Janka, Bernhard Russi, sports journalists, and of course his wife Laura, sibling and parents participated in the bookmaking.
Cologna now works as an expert commentator for the SFR-Sport channel and as a mentor for Team Aker Dæhlie. The skier plans to participate in a few competitions of the Ski Classics series next winter, even though he has already officially finished his competitive career.
