Charlotte Kalla becomes a mother again
The Swedish cross-country skiing star shares happy news: “Our hearts grow with you.”
A week ago, the Swedish cross-country skiing star and her partner welcomed a baby boy.
“Welcome to the world, little brother,” writes Charlotte Kalla on her Instagram.
“On August 2, we became a family of four, and our hearts grow with you. Your little heart already belongs here with us! We are doing well and look forward to getting to know you,” writes the ski star.

Sweden’s ski star Charlotte Kalla retired after the 2022 Olympic season. In the summer of 2023, she had her first child. Now Alvin has become a big brother.
Earlier this summer, Therese Johaug announced that she is expecting her second child at the start of 2026.

An Enormous Career
Charlotte Kalla is one of the most decorated Swedish skiers of all time, with three golds and six silvers at the Olympics, and three golds, six silvers, and four bronzes at the World Championships. She also won the Tour de Ski in 2008 and has 12 World Cup victories.
The 2022 Olympics were her last international championship, and the Swedish Championships at the end of March 2022 marked the end of her cross-country skiing career.

Since retiring, Kalla has been involved in several projects for the Swedish Ski Association. She is also an ambassador for the 2027 Ski World Championships in Falun.
