Anger wins sprint at Les Rousses World Cup
The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Les Rousses, France, with a sprint race in classic technique for women and men. Check out the men’s results.
Edvin Anger, from Sweden, took first place in the men’s sprint race in classic technique at the cross-country World Cup in Les Rousses, France. Complete results from the men’s event.
Edvin Anger, from Sweden, showed his form and won today’s sprint race with a total time of 2:42.99.
Ansgar Evensen, from Norway, snagged second place, 0.51 seconds back, and Erik Valnes, also from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 1.16 seconds behind the winner.
Even Northug, from Norway, and JC Schoonmaker, from the USA, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After France (Les Rousses), the cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Switzerland (Engadin), and Italy (Cogne).
Then, the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.
After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
