This weekend marks the national season openers in cross-country skiing in both Sweden and Norway, with start lists packed with World Cup stars. Here is the whole program, TV schedule, and all details for Gällivare and Beitostølen.

Over three days in Gällivare and Beitostølen, it will be decided which athletes will compete at the World Cup opener in Ruka from November 28 to 30, marking the first step on the road to the 2026 Olympics.

The program features both sprint and distance races, and the start lists include World Cup skiers, elite racers, and long-distance specialists from over 20 nations.

The Swedish and Norwegian national season openers take place in parallel from November 21 to 23, at Gällivare and Beitostølen, respectively. The program is identical in both locations.

The race weekend begins with a classic sprint on Friday, a 10km classic on Saturday, and a 10km freestyle on Sunday. Two of the three disciplines are also on the program for the 2026 Olympics: classic sprint and 10km freestyle.
