Latvia and Norway win Madona Roller Ski World Championships team sprint
The Roller Ski World Championships continued this Friday in Madona, Latvia, with team sprint freestyle races for senior men and senior women.
Madona Roller Ski World Championships: team sprint senior men’s race
Latvia (Raimo Vigants, Lauris Kaparkalejs) took home first place in the senior men’s team sprint freestyle race, crossing the line in a total time of 20:12.1.
Sweden (Erik Fransson, Simon Karlsson) snagged second place, 0.5 seconds back, and Poland (Dominik Bury, Kamil Bury) completed the podium in third place, 1.3 seconds behind the winner.

Norway (Synnoeve Kjosavik, Ragnhild Aarekol) took first place in the senior women’s team sprint freestyle race with a total time of 22:28.98.
Italy (Anna Maria Ghiddi, Maria Eugenia Boccardi) snagged second place, 4.48 seconds behind the winner, and Sweden (Emilia Eriksson, Ebba Stenman) completed the podium in third place, 5.13 seconds back.
