Vesterheim and Hagström winners at Kobberløpet 2026

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Kobberløpet, took place this Saturday with a 40km long-distance race in classic technique in Norway. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Kobberløpet, took place this Saturday with a 40km long-distance race in classic technique in Norway. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the 40-kilometer-long Ski Classics Challengers event in Norway saw Magnus Vesterheim, Team Ramudden, and Johanna Hagström, Falun, winning Kobberløpet with solid performances.

Kobberløpet- Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Magnus Vesterheim, Team Ramudden, with a total time of 1:37:55.6.

Thomas Ødegaarden, Team Eksjöhus, finished in second place, 5.1 seconds back, followed by Vebjørn Moen, Team Eksjöhus, 11.1 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Magnus Vesterheim, Team Ramudden, 1:37:55.6
  2. Thomas Ødegaarden, Team Eksjöhus, +5.1
  3. Vebjørn Moen, Team Eksjöhus, +11.1

Kobberløpet– Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Johanna Hagström, Falun, completed the race in a time of 1:51:49.4.

Tone Lise Pedersen, Tromsø Skiklubb Langrenn – Ski / Team Elon Nord-Norge, finished in second place, 4:34.1 behind, followed by Laurie Flochon Joly, Team Futura GTE Trentino, completing the podium in third position and 8:31.7 back.

  1. Johanna Hagström, Falun, 1:51:49.4
  2. Tone Lise Pedersen, Tromsø Skiklubb Langrenn – Ski / Team Elon Nord-Norge, +4:34.1
  3. Laurie Flochon Joly, Team Futura GTE Trentino, +8:31.7

As Kobberløpet 40km is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions.
