The Ski Classics Challengers events, Gsiesertal Lauf Classic and Skating, took place this weekend with 42km long-distance skiing races in classic and skating techniques in Italy. Check out the results.

GSIESERTAL LAUF CLASSIC 2025

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Italy, Gsiesertal Lauf Classic, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Pro Team athletes Francesco Ferrari, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, and Michaela Patscheider, Team Robinson Trentino, won their respective races with solid performances.

Gsiesertal Lauf Classic – 42km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Francesco Ferrari, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, completed the race in a time of 1:46:42.6.

Mattia Armellini, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, finished in second place, 0.8 seconds behind, followed by Emanuele Bosin, Team Futura Trentino GTE Elettrica, completing the podium in third position and 5.0 seconds back.

Gsiesertal Lauf Classic – 42km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Michaela Patscheider, Team Robinson Trentino, completing the event in a total time of 1:58:57.9.

Malin Börjesjö, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, finished in second place, 3:34.0 back, followed by Emma Ivarsonn,, Team Futura, 5:54:1 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Italy, Gsiesertal Lauf Skating, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Cristina Pittin, CS Esercito, and Mikael Abram won their respective races with solid performances.

Gsiesertal Lauf Skating – 42km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Cristina Pittin, CS Esercito, completing the event in a total time of 1:44:40.1.

Martina Bellini finished in second place, 2:16.6 back, followed by Ylvie Folie, 2:54:7 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Cristina Pittin, CS Esercito, 1:44:40.1
  2. Martina Bellini, +2:16.6

In the men’s event, the winner, Mikael Abram, completed the race in a time of 1:36:03.9.

Giandomenico Salvadori finished in second place, 0.2 seconds behind, followed by Luca Del Fabbro, completing the podium in third position and 0.6 seconds back.
