The Ski Classics Challengers event, Gsiesertal Lauf Skating, took place this Sunday with a 42km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique at Gsiesertal, Italy. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Gsiesertal Lauf Skating, took place this Sunday with a 42km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique at Gsiesertal, Italy. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Italy, Gsiesertal Lauf Skating, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Cristina Pittin, CS Esercito, and Mikael Abram won their respective races with solid performances.

Gsiesertal Lauf Skating – 42km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Cristina Pittin, CS Esercito, completing the event in a total time of 1:44:40.1.

Martina Bellini finished in second place, 2:16.6 back, followed by Ylvie Folie, 2:54:7 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  2. Martina Bellini, +2:16.6

Gsiesertal Lauf Skating – 42km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Mikael Abram, completed the race in a time of 1:36:03.9.

Giandomenico Salvadori finished in second place, 0.2 seconds behind, followed by Luca Del Fabbro, completing the podium in third position and 0.6 seconds back.
