“The training conditions in Åland turned out to be excellent. Isac Holmström’s home region is a skiing training paradise many people don’t know about. The sunny roads are in good condition, there are differences in elevation, and there is little traffic. On the running routes, you can enjoy historical sights and sea views.”

The main focus of Team Edux’s July camp was on long training and rollerskiing. Approximately 400 kilometers were accumulated. The camp ended on July 23 with the 43-kilometer long-distance rollerski race Getaloppet. Isac Holmström won the men’s race, and Noora Kivikko won the women’s race.

“The competition was good, and we had a good team effort. The result promises a good winter, with teamwork succeeding. Noora’s (Kivikko) result is also good; it’s just a pity that there were no other women in the race,” commented Pro Team Director Eric Storvall.
