This Norwegian Pro Team consists of skiers from Norway, Sweden, and Great Britain. Team Aker Dæhlie secured the 1st position in the Pro Team ranking during Season XIV and now looks forward to being the best Pro Team again – their motto: Team Aker Dæhlie – One team achieving together.

For Season XV, the squad counts on its experienced roster of seven athletes from Norway, one from Sweden, and one from Great Britain: Stian Hoelgaard (1991), Chris Andre Jespersen (1983), Andrew Musgrave (1990), Petter Stakston (1997), Astrid Øyre Slind (1988), Silje Øyre Slind (1988), Max Novak (1996), Guro Jordheim (1996), and Thomas Bucher-Johannessen (1997).

TEAM AKER DÆHLIE

“Team Aker Dæhlie is the first private team, competing at the highest level in every category of FIS racing, that includes athletes without regard to gender, age, disability, or nationality. The groundbreaking initiative is founded on the premise of Beyond, emphasizing the importance of performance Beyond the realm of sports,” says Pro Team Director Joachim Aurland and elaborates on the team’s mission:

“Our mission is to actively solve challenges related to the lack of equal opportunity to achieve within the sport of cross-country skiing. Team Aker Dæhlie will continuously strive to achieve extraordinary results on and off the ski course. We want to create heroes and role models that inspire, motivate, and encourage others to participate in further development of the sport.”

Aurland also highlighted the Pro Team’s strengths and shared: “Team Aker Dæhlie consists of athletes with a wealth of experience, combined with some new talents. We hope our team synergies will once again lead to success.”

For the upcoming winter season, the Norwegian Pro Team is aiming no less than the top: “Team Aker Dæhlie’s primary goal for the season is to defend the Pro Team victory. Additionally, the team aspires to place its athletes on the podium as often as possible,” concludes the Pro Team Director Joachim Aurland.
