While Visma Ski Classics Season XII is in full swing, the next event on rollerskis signed up to Visma Ski Classics Challengers.

For the fifth year, Tanumsloppet will take place in Tanumshede, in the west of Sweden, and for the first time as a Visma Ski Classics Challengers. 

The new Visma Ski Classics Challengers event is a 40km long-distance rollerski race in classic technique, and the organizers invite Pro Tour athletes, as well as recreational skiers and youngsters to an event with an enjoyable course with scenic landscapes and a good road surface. 

The rollerski tracks are rather flat and suits all levels of rollerskiers. The main race distance, part of Visma Ski Classics Challengers, is 40km, while there are also shorter distances offered. 

During the race, participants can enjoy typical ”Bohuslänsk” nature with open landscapes and small mountains on the way.

“We at Tamus IF are proud to be able to promote our race and be part of the Visma Ski Classics family as a Challengers event. It will be the first time Visma Ski Classics is arranged in Tanumshede in beautiful Bohuslän. We are happy to show all rollerskiers our beautiful coastal landscape. Together with Visma Ski Classics, we are keen for Tanumsloppet to grow and hopefully become an event that rollerskiers want to come back to every year”, says Tanumsloppet Race Director, Ulf Brahm.

Everyone participating in Visma Ski Classics, Pro Tour or Challengers events, recreational and professional skiers, can connect their profile to the results database of Visma Ski Classics, called MyPages.

MyPages can be connected when becoming a member of Visma Ski Classics online community Pro XC Skiing. In the profile, you can view your Visma Ski Classics event results, collect pins, print diplomas, analyze your results with friends in the SC Ranking system and collect Bonus Rewards to use in Visma Ski Classics shop.

Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
