The Ski Classics Challengers event saw Alayna Sonnesyn (USA) and David Norris (USA) winning the race with solid performances.

American Birkebeiner – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Alayna Sonnesyn (USA), with a total time of 2:27:34.5. 

Jessica Yeaton (AUS) finished in second place, with a time of 2:27:40.1, followed by Caitlin Gregg (USA), with a total time of 2:28:44.3, and completing the podium in the third position.

American Birkebeiner – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner, David Norris (USA), completed the race in a time of 2:05:32.8.

Gérard Agnellet (FRA) finished in second place, with a total time of 2:07:55.7, followed by Francis Izquierdo-Bernier (CAN), completing the podium in the third position and the same time, 2:07:55.7.

As American Birkebeiner is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
