The Ski Classics Challengers event Vaajmarathon starts in one month. The 42km classic roller ski race will take place on August 12, 2023, in Norway-Sweden.

Vaajmarathon is a unique roller ski race crossing the Norwegian-Swedish border. This Summer, the event starts in Norway and finishes in Sweden. 

Celebrating five years in 2023, Vaajmarathon takes place in the beautiful area of Hotagen, only 100km from Östersund. This year the race starts in Mebygda, Norway, and the organizers invite both professional and recreational skiers to a roller ski event crossing the Norwegian-Swedish border to finish in Rötviken, Sweden. 

According to the Local Organizing Committee, Vaajmarathon is Sweden’s most beautiful roller ski race. It inspires an active life and shows the possibility of roller skiing in a unique environment with a course close to the mountains and beautiful scenery.

Vaajmarathon is part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit and a seeding race to Vasaloppet.
