Novie McCabe And Luke Jager Winners Of Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Skate

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Skate, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place this Saturday with a 40km long-distance race in freestyle technique in Vernon, Canada. Get to know the winners.

After a full day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Skate saw Novie McCabe and Luke Jager, Team USA, winning their respective races.

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Skate – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Novie McCabe, Team USA, with a total time of 2:03:20.1. 

Olivia Bouffard-Nesbitt, Fondeurs-Laurentides, finished in second place, with a time of 2:09:43.1, followed by Katherine Stewart-Jones, Nakkertok Nordique (QC), with a total time of 2:11:39.40, and completing the podium in the third position.

  1. Novie McCabe, Team USA, 2:03:20
  2. Olivia Bouffard-Nesbitt, Fondeurs-Laurentides, 2:09:43
  3. Katherine Stewart-Jones, Nakkertok Nordique (QC), 2:11:39

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Skate – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner was Luke Jager, Team USA, completing the race in a time of 1:56:05.

Scott Hill, Team Hardwood, finished in second place, with a total time of 1:56:57, followed by Jack Carlyle, Soo Finnish, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 2:01.43.

As Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Skate is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
