Möller and Slettemark winners of Arctic Circle Race stage 2

The second stage of the 160km Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race took place this Saturday with a 57.9km long-distance race in classic technique in Sisimiut, Greenland. Get to know the second-day winners.

The second stage of the 160km Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race took place this Saturday with a 57.9km long-distance race in classic technique in Sisimiut, Greenland. Get to know the second-day winners.

After a full day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race saw Martin Möller and Ukaleq Slettemark winning their respective stage 2 races.

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner of day 2 was Martin Møller, completing the race in a time of 4:05:53.0.

Anders Brink Nyberg finished in second place, 15:38.0 behind the winner, followed by Bjarne Herbert Hansen, who completed the podium in third place, 18:56.0 back.

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Ukaleq Slettemark with a total time of 5:36:37.0. 

Mathilde Le Moullec finished in second place, 14:55 behind the winner, followed by Sasja Hendriksen Joelsen, 15.06 back, and completing the podium in the third position.

  1. Ukaleq Slettemark (GRL), 5:36:37.0
  2. Mathilde Le Moullec (NOR), +14:55
  3. Sasja Hendriksen Joelsen (GRL), +15.06

As the event is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
