The second stage of the 160km Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race took place this Saturday with a 57km long-distance race in classic technique in Sisimiut, Greenland. Get to know the second-day winners.

The second stage of the 160km Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race took place this Saturday with a 57km long-distance race in classic technique in Sisimiut, Greenland. Get to know the second-day winners.

After a full day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race saw Martin Møller and Danielle Bridle winning their respective stage 2 races.

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner of day 2 was Martin Møller, who completed the race in a time of 4:40:59.0.

Rasmus Jørgensen finished in second place, 11:18.0 behind the winner, followed by Qulutak Møller, completing the podium in the third position and 32:21.0 back.

Arctic Circle Race – Day 2 – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Danielle Bridle with a total time of 5:42:10.0. 

Nivi Geisler finished in second place, 6:44.0 behind the winner, followed by Sasja Hendriksen Joelsen, 27:33.0 back, and completing the podium in the third position.

  1. Danielle Bridle, KTI Sisimiut, 5:42:10.0
  2. Nivi Geisler, Inuplan SkiTeam, +6:44.0
  3. Sasja Hendriksen Joelsen, NDO Supply A/S, +27:33.0

As the Arctic Circle Race is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
