Team Aker Dæhlie continues to strengthen its Pro Team squad for Ski Classics Season XVII by adding two strong Norwegian athletes: Mathias Aas Rolid and Gaute Kvåle.

As preparations for the Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVII continue, the Norwegian Pro Team, Team Aker Dæhlie, has presented two new names joining their ranks: Mathias Aas Rolid and Gaute Kvåle, both known for their strength and endurance.

Mathias Aas Rolid has shown consistent development within Ski Classics and brings a combination of power and resilience to the Pro Team. The Norwegian Pro Team athlete raced for Team Ragde Charge during Season XVI, competing in eleven Pro Tour events. His top result was 4th place at Marcialonga, finishing the season ranked 27th in the Champion competition with 1423 points.

Gaute Kvåle has been recognized as one of Norway’s strongest all-around skiers in recent years. With a background in traditional cross-country skiing, his move to long-distance skiing marks a new and exciting phase of his career.

“We’re excited to strengthen our Ski Classics team with two powerful additions: Mathias Aas Rolid @aasrolid and Gaute Kvåle @gautekv,” says a post on Team Aker Dæhlie’s social media.

“Mathias has shown strong and steady development within Ski Classics and brings both power and endurance into our team setup. Gaute has been one of the strongest all-around skiers in Norway for years. With his high capacity and strength, we’re thrilled to follow his transition into long-distance racing.
