Malin Börjesjö and Thomas Joly Winners of Marathon International de Bessans
The Ski Classics Challengers event, Marathon International de Bessans, took place this Saturday with a 30km long-distance race in classic technique in Bessans, France.

After a day full of action in Bessans, the Ski Classics Challengers event in France saw the Pro Tour athletes Malin Börjesjö, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, and Thomas Joly, Team Nordic Expérience, win the races with solid performances.
In the women’s competition, the winner was Malin Börjesjö, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, with a total time of 1:21:10.0, in a close finish with Laurie Flochon Joly, Team Nordic Expérience, who snagged second place, 1.0 second behind the winner.
Amelie Suiffet, Team Féclaz Formation Longue Distance, with a total time of 1:21:38.0, completed the podium in the third position.
In the men’s race, the winner Thomas Joly, Team Nordic Expérience, completed the race in a time of 1:11:25.0.
In a close finish, Lorenzo Busin, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, finished in second place, with a total time of 1:11:27.0, followed by Antoine Auger, Team Nordic Expérience, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 1:11:27.1.
As Marathon International de Bessans is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
