The Ski Classics Challengers events La Transjurassienne Classic and Skating take place this Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8, 2026, in the Jura Mountains, France.

La Transjurassienne 2026, featuring the Ski Classics Challengers 50km Classic race on Saturday, February 7, and the 50km Skating event on Sunday, February 8, is confirmed, with some adjustments to the original program. The Skating race has been reduced from the initially planned 70km distance.

According to the Local Organizing Committee, the event will go ahead as planned. Still, “thanks to good snow conditions and the hard work of the teams on the ground in the various mountain ranges, La Transju’ 2026 will take place between Lamoura and Les Rousses, with a linear route ranging from 50 to 56km.”

“This route had already been proposed for the 2023 edition. Rainfall is forecast throughout the week, with snow mixed with rain. Unfortunately, this situation means that we are unable to offer the original 70km La Transjurassienne route.

Program changes:

  • All events will take place between Lamoura and Les Rousses.
  • Sunday: La Transjurassienne and Skating 50 km events have been merged into a single 50-56 km race with a single ranking: La Transjurassienne 50km.
  • Elite SAS start, followed by subsequent waves every 5 minutes.”
