How to qualify for the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja!

Ski Classics ends Season XVI with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja in Bardufoss-Finnsnes, in northern Norway, on Sunday, March 30, 2025. For the first time, recreational skiers can now qualify for the fantastic adventure of Summit 2 Senja, the Grand Finale of Ski Classics Season XVI. Ski Classics ends Season XVI with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja in Bardufoss-Finnsnes, in northern Norway, on Sunday, March 30, 2025. For the first time, recreational skiers can now qualify for the fantastic adventure of Summit 2 Senja, the Grand Finale of Ski Classics Season XVI. The Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja is the 14th and final event of Season XVI, where the Pro Team athletes and their Pro Teams will be present to celebrate the end of the season on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Now, you can also be part of the Grand Finale!

Grand Finale Qualifier Pin

There will be a limited 250 participation spots outside the Pro Team field, and to be able to register, you need to have completed at least one Pro Tour race within winner time on your gender plus 50% or two Challengers events within the same time rule. When done, you will receive the Ski Classics Qualifier pin on your SC MyPages on skiclassics.com.

Step 1, Qualification Criteria

Have completed a Ski Classics race from the current season:

a. One Pro Tour event within the winner’s time plus 50% (in each gender). 

b. Two Challengers events within the winner’s time plus 50% (in each gender).

Step 2, Guide on how to register through MyPages

  1. Login to your MyPages account or create an account on skiclassics.com
  2. Make sure your MyPages profile is connected to Ski Classics database under SC Profile

    3. If not connected, connect by entering the search criteria. You need to have results from minimum one Ski Classics Pro Tour or Challengers event to be found in the Ski Classics database.

    4. When a connection to the Ski Classics database is successful, you should, under the ‘SC Profile’ section, find all your previous Ski Classics event results and your collected pins. If you have the Grand Qualifier 2025 pin, you have access to register for the event.

    5. In the SC Events section under ‘All Ski Classics Events, ’ you can register for the Grand Finale event. If you don’t have the Grand Finale Qualifier pin, you will get the information you are not qualified. If you have the Grand Finale Qualifier pin, the registration will be open.

    Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja

    The Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja is a 60-kilometer long-distance race starting in Bardufoss and ending in Finnsnes, passing through fantastic landscapes. Summit 2 Senja is a race from the mountains for the fjords, involving two more municipalities, Sørreisa and Senja.

    The Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja was introduced to the Pro Tour during Season XIV, and already in its first edition, the event has garnered recognition and acclaim, having been awarded the title “Best Event of the Year” in Ski Classics.

    Season XIV of Ski Classics Pro Tour consists of 14 events on 10 event weekends in 6 different countries. Started in Bad Gastein, Austria, on December 13, 2024, with the Pro Team Presentation, and will end in Finnsnes, Norway, with the Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja, on March 30, 2025.
