Hilda Löf and Andreas Svensson Winners of Bessemerloppet 2023

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Bessemerloppet, took place today with a 50km long-distance race in classic technique in Högbo Bruk, Sandviken, Sweden.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Bessemerloppet, took place today with a 50km long-distance race in classic technique in Högbo Bruk, Sandviken, Sweden.

The Ski Classics Challengers event saw Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC Sthlm Ski Club, and Andreas Svensson, Ulricehamns IF, winning the race with solid performances.

Bessermerloppet – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC Sthlm Ski Club, with a total time of 2:29:16.3. 

Anja Stolpe, Lager 157 Ski Team, finished in second place, with a time of 2:32:16.1, followed by Madelene Nord, Malungs IF Skidor, with a total time of 2:34:00.2, and completing the podium in the third position. 

Bessemerloppet – Top 3 Women

  1. Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC Sthlm Ski Club, 2:29:16.3
  2. Anja Stolpe, Lager 157 Ski Team, +2:59.8
  3. Madelene Nord, Malungs IF Skidor, +4:43.9

Bessermerloppet – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner Andreas Svensson, Ulricehamns IF, completed the race in a time of 2:09:28.3.

Adrian Lundberg, Lager 157 Ski Team, finished in second place, with a total time of 2:11:36.3, followed by Jonatan Steen, Sågmyra SK, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 2:11:41.4.

Bessermerloppet – Top 3 Men

  1. Andreas Svensson, Ulricehamns IF, 2:09:28.3
  2. Adrian Lundberg, Lager 157 Ski Team, +2:08.0
  3. Jonatan Steen, Sågmyra SK, +2:13.1

As Bessermerloppet is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
