Hågen Krogh and Twieg winners at Arctic Alta Skimarathon 2026

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Arctic Alta Skimarathon, took place this Saturday with a 46km long-distance freestyle skiing race in Alta, Norway. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Norway, Arctic Alta Skimarathon, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Finn Hågen Krogh, Tverrelvdalen IL, and Ronja Twieg, Team Tunheim, won their respective races with solid performances.

Arctic Alta Skimarathon – Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner Finn Hågen Krogh, Tverrelvdalen IL, completed the race in a time of 1:59:27.0.

Daniel Strand, Alta, finished in second place, 4:24.0 behind, followed by Kornelius Olsen, Alta IF, completing the podium in third position and 6:55.0 back.

Arctic Alta Skimarathon – Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, Ronja Twieg, Team Tunheim, won, completing the event in 3:21:50.0.

Lisa Marie Gudmestad, Bossekop UL, finished in second place, 1:37.0 back, followed by Karin Haraldsdatter Skum, Tverrelvdalen IL, 19:39:0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Ronja Twieg, Team Tunheim, 3:21:50.0
  2. Lisa Marie Gudmestad, Bossekop UL, +1:37.0
  3. Karin Haraldsdatter Skum, Tverrelvdalen IL, +19:39:0

As the Arctic Alta Skimarathon 46km freestyle is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
