Gustav Eriksson and Julia Angelsiöö winners at Wadköpingsloppet 2025
After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Sweden, Wadköpingsloppet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Julia Angelsiöö, Ski Team Göhlins/Storvreta IK, and Gustav Eriksson, Team Robinson Trentino/IFK Mora SK, won their respective races with solid performances.
Wadköpingsloppet – 40km Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Julia Angelsiöö, Ski Team Göhlins/Storvreta IK, completing the event in a total time of 1:56:38.0.
Olivia Jansson, Tisdagsklubben Örebro, finished in second place, 9:05.9 back, followed by Alma Olsson, Garphyttans IF, 16:02.9 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

Wadköpingsloppet – 40km Men’s Race
In the men’s event, the winner, Gustav Eriksson, Team Robinson Trentino/IFK Mora SK, completed the race in a time of 1:38:43.4.
Josef Žižala, Zizkovsky Tygri, finished in second place, 6:26.3 behind, followed by Viktor Hansson, Tisdagsklubben Örebro, completing the podium in third position and 6:27.9 back.
