The Ski Classics Challengers event, Värnamorullen, is just a month away. The traditional 40km classic technique roller skiing race takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Värnamo, Sweden.

On Saturday, September 5, for the tenth time, Värnamorullen will take place in Värnamo, in the middle of southern Sweden, and for the fourth time as a Ski Classics Challengers.

The organizers invite professional as well as recreational skiers and youngsters to an event with a nice course along scenic landscapes and a good road surface. A slightly hilly lap course without difficult downhill skiing, 10km in length.

The distance for the main race, part of the Ski Classics Challengers calendar and a seeding race for Vasaloppet, is 40km, while shorter distances are also offered.

During the race, participants can enjoy typical “småländsk” nature with meadows and small villages on the way.
