The Ski Classics Challengers event Åsarna Ski Marathon takes place this Saturday, February 10, in Åsarna, Sweden. Get to know more details about the event.

Åsarna Ski Marathon takes place for the 16^th time in 2024, and the 46km long-distance skiing course is presented in one big loop, leading through true Swedish wilderness.

The start takes place at Åsarna Gamla Kyrka (Old Church), and the finish line is a little further South at Åsarna Ski Stadium. Good to remember that the competition is also a seeding race for Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan.

Åsarna town is located 70km south of Östersund, and the Organization Committee welcomes Pro Tour athletes and recreational skiers to visit a small village with a long ski history.

Apart from the 46km race in the Ski Classics Challengers series, shorter races of 18 and 8km are also on the program.
