Česká Televize Prolongs Media Agreement

The Public Service broadcaster in the Czech Republic, Česká televize, has prolonged its media rights agreement with Ski Classics on a multi-year basis.

TV viewership and the number of registered Czech Pro Teams and athletes confirm the high interest in the Pro Tour, and Česká Televize will broadcast Ski Classics in the Czech Republic for the next years.

“Czech TV has been a partner since the birth of Ski Classics and is our oldest TV partner. As Ski Classics always work for long-term partnerships, it is an honor to prolong with Česká Televize. The Czech Republic is a very important market for us and winter sports in general, and we hope this cooperation will contribute to making more Czech people ski!” says David Nilsson, CEO Ski Classics.

“Czech people are big fans of winter sports, they practice skiing, and they also watch sports transmissions to support professional skiers. Česká televize is pleased that it can offer Ski Classics competitions for more seasons and prolong its long-term partnership with WSportsmedia. The agreement with WSportsmedia perfectly fits our programming to offer our audience the widest range of winter sports. All Ski Classics events will be aired on sports channel CT Sport and also on digital channel CT Sport plus,” quoted Česká televize.
