Bucher-Johannessen and Femsteinevik winners of La Sfida

The Ski Classics Challengers event, La Sfida 2024, took place this Sunday with a 28km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Zuoz, Switzerland. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the freestyle Ski Classics Challengers event in Switzerland, La Sfida, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Thomas Bucher-Johannessen, Team Aker Dæhlie, and Ragnhild Femsteinevik, Koseklubben, won their respective races with solid performances.

La Sfida – 28km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Thomas Bucher-Johannessen, Team Aker Dæhlie, with a total time of 1:12:00.2.

Curdin Räz, Ski Club Alpina St. Moritz, finished in second place, 1:32.9 back, followed by Federico Pozzi, Fiamme Oro, 1:35.9 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

La Sfida – 28km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Ragnhild Femsteinevik, Koseklubben, completed the race in a time of 1:23:05.2.

Océane Bépoix, Team Nordic Expérience, finished in second place, 13.1 seconds behind, followed by Manuela Salvadori, completing the podium in third position and 19.2 seconds back.
